Source text - English DOWN IN THE AMAZON
Way deep down in the jungle where rich, thick roots grow,
in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest, there’s a little bungalow.
And in that little bungalow, there lives a family
that wakes up each morning beneath the canopy.
Part of a tribe that lives way deep inside and beyond the farthest tree- lives this peaceful people who know nothing of you and me.
A bungalow is a jungle house made of sugarcane and bamboo.
It’s up on stilts and sturdy, for when the boa passes through!
“When the boa passes through?!” You gasp! “Oh that would be scary!”
Almost as much as those big spiders! They’re black and really hairy!
