Hello! I am a friendly, qualified, Italian>English translator. I specialize in clinical trial documentation, communications, and official documentation (among other experience). I offer translation, editing, and copywriting services. What sets me apart? My passion for this job and industry, and my dedication to producing exceptional work.
I have over 10 years of experience in the language services industry, including several roles as Quality Assurance Editor and Project Manager for two leading LSPs. My time in project management provided me with a well-rounded understanding of the translation life-cycle and the qualities that a linguist must possess, in addition to language skills, that it takes to be successful. I incorporate all of this experience and subject matter expertise into my freelance translation career, which now spans 6 years.
I am a native English speaker who grew up in an Italian-speaking household; I maintain my Italian language skills through frequent personal and professional visits to Italy. I hold a B.A. in Italian Language and Literature from Fordham University in New York City. I am quality-driven and bring a strong attention to detail to every project that I take on. I am also able to offer competitive turnaround times and rates.
