Ascariasis is an infection of the small intestine caused by a large roundworm. A person becomes infected after eating raw or uncooked food contaminated with the eggs, which are commonly found in soil contaminated by human feces. The eggs hatch in the person's intestine and the larvae travel through the intestinal wall and reach the lungs, get into the throat and are re-swallowed. The larvae grow to become worms in the intestine and may cause coughing, wheezing, fever, abdominal pain, and malnutrition. | Translation - Kurdish
ئاسکاریاسیس جۆرێک هەوکردنی ڕیخۆڵەی بچووکە هۆکارەکەی کرمێکی خڕ و گەورەیە. گەر کەسێک مادەی خواردەمەنی خاو یان خود نەکوڵاو یان نیوە کوڵیو و ئالوودە بەو هێلکانە بخوات کە بە شێوەی ئاسایی لە لمدا دەدۆزرێنەوە و بە هۆی پەیوەندی لەگەڵ پیسایی مرۆڤ ئالوودە بوون ، تووشی ئەم نەخۆشییە دەبن. ئەم هێلکانە لە ڕیخۆڵەی مرۆڤدا دەشکێن و لارڤا لە دیواری ڕیخۆڵە تێدەپەڕێت و دەگاتە سییەکان، پاشان دەچێتە ناو قورگ و دوبارە قووت دەدرێتەوە. لارڤا لە ڕیخۆڵەدا گەشە دەکات و دەبێتە کرم و لەوانەیە ببێتە هۆی کۆخە، پژمین، یاو، ژانی سک و بەدخۆراکی. |
