Bio
Over 20 years of experience in translating and interpreting for the Department of Defense (Air Force) and for the private sector.

I work in the Translations Department of the Inter-American Air Forces Academy, an institution dedicated to training officers and enlisted of the armed forces of Latin America. Courses taught here range from highly technical to professional military education. In addition to my work here at the Academy, I also go on assignments to interpret for the Chief of Staff of the Air Force and for other DOD components.

For my interpreting work with the Department of Defense I have been give various awards, of which the most important are the Legion of Merit Medal and the Award for Civilian Achievement.

In addition to my work, I have done extensive frelancing.

At the present time I am trying to launch an extension of the Austin Area Translators and Interpreters Association in San Antonio, Texas.
