I am a native Spanish speaker, born in the Dominican Republic. I have a law degree from American University, Washington College of Law and three years of immigration litigation experience, representing clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) and handling complex immigration matters including asylum, cancellation of removal, and motions to reopen. As a result, I am well versed in the legal field and its terminology, and fully understand the importance of accurately translating meaning, not just words. I am passionate about my work and have experience working with clients from all over Latin America, including El Salvador, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and Guatemala, among others.
