A wśród nich zacięta rywalizacja pomiędzy czarnym koniem a czarnym bykiem, czyli pomiędzy Ferrari i Lamborghini. Co ciekawe, nie doszło by do niej, gdyby nie jedna z podstawowych reguł wpływu społecznego, czyli reguła niedostępności.
Translation - English Italy is well-known, worldwide, for many things. First and foremost, obviously, for delicious food: pizza, pasta, excellent cold meats and cheese. It is also famous for unique monuments, interesting history and spectacular sights. Nonetheless, there is one more area, perhaps it is not always mentioned among the things most commonly associated with Italy, however, it is very important for a certain group of people, namely sports cars. There is a fierce rivalry between the black horse and the black bull, i.e. between Ferrari and Lamborghini. Interestingly enough, we would not witness it if it was not for one of the most
basic principles of social influence – the scarcity rule.

Experience
Years of experience: 19. Registered at ProZ.com: Nov 2014.
I am a sworn translator of English (TP/72/18) providing English to Polish and Polish to English translation and
interpreting services. I have acquired my linguistic competence both home,
throughout my studies at the Institute of English Studies of University of
Łódź and Opole, and abroad, as I have graduated from Hall High School in Little Rock,
Arkansas. As far as my professional experience is concerned, I worked as an in-house translator/interpreter in a
leading translation agency in Opole for several years, where my my job was to translate and interpret in a wide spectrum of fields. This position gave me the opportunity to confront my
linguistic competences with real-world challenges related to translation and interpreting
and, what is equally important, it also helped me develop and improve such translator's skills as touch typing, translation software literacy
(including CAT tools) or the ability to work with tight deadlines. In 2015, I
decided to become a freelance and since then I have worked solo, providing
translation/interpreting services for major translation agencies, companies as
well as individual customers.
