Sono laureata in Traduzione Letteraria e Saggistica dall'inglese e dal tedesco verso l'italiano. Durante la laurea magistrale ho approfondito lo studio della traduzione sia dal punto di vista pratico e teorico. Mi sono occupata principalmente di testi letterari (poesia, narrativa) e saggistici (storia dell'arte, cinema, turismo). Per la mia tesi magistrale, in particolare, ho scelto di tradurre alcuni capitoli tratti da un romanzo storico per ragazzi in lingua inglese, evidenziandone le problematiche traduttive legate al genere e al giovane pubblico di riferimento.
Nel 2012, inoltre, ho effettuato un soggiorno di studio Erasmus presso la Freie Universität di Berlino della durata di sei mesi. Quest'esperienza di grande arricchimento culturale è stata un'occasione per sviluppare ulteriormente le mie capacità analitiche e organizzative, data la frequente richiesta di preparare in tempi brevi elaborati e presentazioni. Mi ritengo una persona precisa, affidabile e attenta al dettaglio.

I graduated in Literary and Specialized Translation at the University of Pisa and I am now seeking an opportunity to work as a translator of texts from English and German into Italian. During my Master’s studies I have deepened the study of translation in both its theoretical and practical aspects. I have worked on literary and non-fiction texts (history of art, cinema, tourism). For my Master’s thesis, in particular, I have translated some chapters of a historical novel for children, highlighting some translation issues, related to the particular genre and to the young public.

Furthermore, I have taken part in the Erasmus Programme at the Freie Universität of Berlin for six months. This experience has given me the opportunity to develop my analytic and organizational skills in preparing papers and presentations with a short deadline. I am a responsible, hard-working and detail-oriented person.

Finally, in 2016 I had the occasion to translate some documents (brochures, presentations and call for applications/regulations) for the hospital where I did an internship.
