I am a freelance translator with 8+ years of experience in Spanish to English translation as well as editing and proof-reading translated documents and English texts.

I have a bachelors degree from Bard College in Spanish Language and Literature (NY, USA) and a master's degree in Translation and Intercultural Mediation from the Universidad de Salamanca (Salamanca, Spain).

My linguistic and cultural experience from living, working, and studying in Spain for 5+ years has provided me with a cultural sensitivity to nuance and detail when translating texts.

My mastery of the Spanish language as well as my undergraduate work gives me the ability and skills needed to work with any variation of the Spanish language, from Spain or any Latin American country.

I currently split my time between working with agencies and direct clients and learning new languages (Portuguese!).
My specialisations include medical (pharmaceutical: clinical trial documentation, PILs, SPCs), fashion and retail (major Spanish clothing brands such as Desigual, Zara, and Adolfo Domínguez), tourism and hospitality (hotels, restaurants, outdoor activities and tours, museums) marketing, beauty and cosmetics, academia, literary and general texts.
