Source text - Spanish Y ante mi emoción, pude leer en sus páginas 74 y 75 "de que forma había diseñado ambas canchas del Jockey Club". Era una manera, al no contar con los planos, de tener la firma de las mismas por su autor. Allí también define el espíritu de ambas, y a su criterio la similitud de las mismas en espíritu y en diseño con el Old Course de St. Andrews.
Translation - English And to my elation, I was able to read on pages 74 and 75 "how he had designed both courses of the Jockey Club". Since the original drawings had never been found, it was a sign of proof as to the designer's signature. Therein lay as well, the spirit of both courses, and as per his criteria, the similarity of both in spirit and design, to the Old Course at St. Andrews.
