First of all, thanks for your time.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpreting from University Complutense of Madrid (EN, FR >< ES) and I am specialized in Multimedia Translation (videogames, testing, subtitling, web, app and software localization) and in Technical and Publishing translation (technical documents, specialized magazines, specialized press, text books, essays with an informative and educational approach) in several different topics, such as technology, economy, politics, sciences, environment, music and arts among other subjects.
Currently, I'm working ona project basis for ProTranslating agency for customers as Sonos, T-Mobile, ASOS, Unilever or Amba Hotels.
Last year, I finished a Postgraduate in Localization and New Technologies applied to Translation at Alfonso X El Sabio University:
- Trados 2017, XBench, Passolo (web and app localization), HTML, XML, SQL, subtitling, Visual Basic for Applications, videogames and project manager.
As an internship, I've worked as a Translator/Coordinator Project for Local Concept, Inc editing and proofreading (Linguistic Quality Assurance) for Harvard Bussines Review (technolohy, economics and socioeconomics issues, social and job network, workflow and human resources) and Postediting and translating HP 3D printers user guides as well as updating BBDD and TMs for Hubbell Canada and working with the Project Management Department for customers as Razer (laptops).
Since 2016 I've been working as a freelance translator for customers, agencies and ONGs. Soon, I'm starting a Master Degree in Technical Translation/Localization and New technologies.
I've finished a Postgraduate in Localization and New Technologies applied to Translation in Alfonso X El Sabio University (Madrid).
I've experience transcripting and subtitling technical videos about anatomy and yoga as a professional translator besides a lot of audiovisual material through the university years, such as technical documentaries, clips on many topics (arts, comedy, environment, life sciences, physics), including my Final Year Project that consisted of several videos from the Cal Acamemy subtitled via the Amara's free online software. As a volunteer translator/subtitler in Amara, I've also subtitled videos for TED, TEDx, Khan Academy or Coursera among others.
Also, I've worked with Pactera translating from English into Spanish in a E-commerce project as freelance and localizating two apps.
I've experience translating from Spanish into English for customers such as Ecode (web design and SEO), MACA (Contemporary Art Museum of Alicante), scientific apps, abstracts and resumes for university projects and workers.
I've worked with NGOs, such as Animal Charity Evaluators (web localization of assesments about NGOs), UNICEF (overview reports, logistic, campaigns), Animal Equalty (report translation on uncover operations and documentation related) and I'm currently looking for new projects.
