Gigi Guzmán is a native
Spanish speaker living in the Baltimore-Washington area, USA.  She was born in Chile, Latin America, of
French parents, and educated in the British school system.  She is fluent in English and Spanish and
familiar with French.  Ms. Guzmán is a
U.S. Citizen.  

 Ms.
Guzmán has over 20 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language
(ESL) and Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL), mathematics and other subjects
to children and adults.  She is the
founder of GlobalTech Bilingual
Institute (GlobalTech) which operated from 1996 to 2012 when it was sold.  Globaltech
operated children’s afterschool and summer programs (see GlobalTech Kids on
Facebook) providing mathematics within its early childhood education program.  The Institute also conducted elementary
through high school (Pre-GED and GED) tutoring in various subjects and
developed its own curriculum and assessment instruments.  The largest programs were for adult learners
focusing on English as a Second Language. 
Over its 16 years of operation, Globaltech instructed over 5000 students
of all ages.  Ms. Guzmán was the School
Director, lead instructor, translator, and interpreter.

 After
GlobalTech Bilingual Institute was sold in 2012, Ms. Guzmán’s time and skills have
been devoted to providing English and Spanish interpretation services for agencies
and private individuals at the US Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS), depositions
at legal firms, educational sessions at schools, and medical sessions at hospitals
throughout the Baltimore-Washington-Delaware areas.  Her command of both English and Spanish is
fluent and native which helps sessions flow easily and expeditiously.

 Additionally,
Ms. Guzmán provides language instruction and translation services for various U.S.
Government contractors providing services for agencies such as Medicare, NSA, and
the US Navy among others.  Some of these
projects included glossaries exceeding 1,000,000 terms.
