Junge Menschen in Deutschland finden beim Berufseinstieg laut einer Studie immer seltener einen regulären Arbeitsplatz. Unter Berufung auf eine Studie der Hochschule Niederrhein teilte die Hans-Böckler-Stiftung mit, dass knapp 40 Prozent arbeiteten zunächst als Leiharbeiter, Teilzeitkraft oder auf einer befristeten Stelle.
Damit habe sich der Anteil der jungen Erwachsenen bei atypischen Areitsverhältnissen im Zeitraum von 2000 bis 2010 mehr als verdoppelt. Auch in allen anderen Altersgruppen sei der Anteil der irregulär Beschäftigten gestiegen – jedoch bei weitem nicht so stark wie bei den Jungen. Nach einem zunächst befristeten Job bekommen auch nur knapp ein Viertel (23 Prozent) der Jugentlichen eine reguläre Stelle.

According to a study, it is getting increasingly difficult for young people in Germany to find regular jobs at the start of their careers. With reference to a study by Niederrhein University, the Hans-Böckler foundation has shared that barely 40 percent started their careers as contract workers, part-time employees or in a temporary job.
Thereby, the proportion of young adults in non-standard employment contracts is reported to have more than doubled in the period spanning 2000 to 2010.The proportion of irregular staff has reportedly risen in all other age groups too – though, not by far as severely as in the case of young people. Hardly a quarter (23 percent) of young people manage to obtain regular employment after a temporary first job.
