Hello to All I've been working in the translation industry since 2002 (English into French) when my high premature baby girl was born and I subscribed to this website where I found jobs, support, help etc... I have been certified with the French courts for 20 years and there too, they decided to radiate my account because I failed to report my annual activity. Bad luck and despite my recourse, I've lost it. Last chance this end of year Today, and since covid crisis, translation has become a half time job with low prices and making a living out of it is tough. I have contracted another half time job at 50 years old to earn around 1000e / month. I used to earn around 2500/3000e until 2019. I decided to give up translation and contracted a full time employment with the French National Education as an Education Assistant in a secondary school (pupils aged 11-16) There is my life after 20 years of good standing and hard work. Thanks covid, thanks government leaders! France is no more what it was, believe me! Good luck to all Muriel |
