Currently I am working mainly as a freelance Interpreter and Translator. I am native Albanian with dual Nationality, fluent in English, both spoken and written. In addition, I am able to communicate in French, Italian together with some Greek languages.
Contact with all of these languages have helped to understand, appreciate and value other people's views, cultures and religions.
I have been living in Scotland for two decades and have a very clear understanding especially of the Scottish Education System to which I have dedicated my career.
Over the last few years, I have widened my knowledge and career in getting involved in professional Interpreting and translating.
Subsequently, my knowledge and skills have shifted to within the Scottish Legal system. My experience has expanded through interpreting many cases in the High Court and Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland.
This position has given me more opportunity to be able to assist also interpreting for the NHS, Social Work Departments, Prison services, Police and Solicitors across Edinburgh and Lothians.
I am a charismatic, optimistic and hard-working individual, dedicated personality, loyal, tolerant, punctual and honest. In addition, I possess a strong work ethic everywhere and I am able to communicate professionally to various age-groups, cultures and backgrounds.
I am also on the Register of the Interpreters of the Scottish Legal Aid Board.
