Bio

I
graduated from Freie Universität in Berlin and have spent about a quarter of my
life living in Germany (the other 75% in the USA). I have been working as a
translator since 2016, mainly focusing on translations of engineering and
tech-related material (including many patents). Much of my work has been using
the CAT tools MemoQ and Trados, as well as online platforms provided by
individual clients. This has included MTPE as well as traditional translations.
I have subtitled as well—using Subtitle Edit and EZTitles—mostly for tech
conferences and other similarly exciting material.
