Zacharias lived in the hill country southwest of Jerusalem. According to Moses’ instructions, to be a priest, one had to be a descendant of the original high priest, Aaron (Ex. 28:1). Zacharias’ wife, Elizabeth, was also a descendant of Aaron. Both were upright, godly individuals. Only one thing marred their lives: They had grown old without having children (Lk. 1:7).
The priests had been divided into twenty-four divisions, or orders (1 Chron. 24:1–19). Zacharias was of the division of Abijah (Lk. 1:5; see 1 Chron. 24:10). The orders took turns ministering in the temple, a week at a time. Each week, lots were cast regarding temple duties (Lk. 1:9). The most coveted task was offering incense on the altar that stood before the curtain that hid the most Holy Place. This was the closest an ordinary priest could come to that hallowed spot. It was an honor that might come once in a lifetime.
As the story begins, it was Zacharias’ week to serve in the temple—and he had the privilege of offering incense. As he walked into the holy place, he must have been thinking what a special day it was. It was to be even more special than he could have anticipated—for an angel of the Lord named Gabriel appeared to him. In the Bible, only two angels are named: Gabriel (Lk. 1:19, 26; see Dan. 8:16; 9:21) and Michael (Jude 9; Rev. 12:7; see Dan. 10:13, 21; 12:1). The word angel is a transliteration of the Greek word ἄγγελος (aggelos) which literally means ″messenger.″
Translation - French Zacharie vivait dans la montagne au sud-ouest de Jérusalem. Selon les instructions de Moise, afin d’être prêtre, vous deviez être descendant d’Aaron, le premier grand-prêtre (Ex 28 :1). Elizabeth, la femme de Zacharie était également descendante d’Aaron. Ils étaient tous deux irréprochables et justes devant Dieu. Seulement, une chose faisait tache dans leurs vies : Ils étaient avancés en âge sans n’avoir jamais eu d’enfants (Lc 1 :7)
Les prêtres étaient divisés en vingt-quatre divisions ou classes (1 Chron. 24 :1-19). Zacharie était de la classe d’Abija (Lc. 1 :5 ; voir 1 Chron. 24 :10). Les classes servaient au temple à tour de rôle une semaine à la fois. Chaque semaine, un tirage au sort était effectué concernant les obligations du temple (Lc. 1 :9). La tâche la plus convoitée était celle d’offrir de l’encens sur l’autel qui se tenait devant le chandelier devant le Lieu très Saint. C’était l’endroit le plus proche qu’un prêtre ordinaire pouvait approcher avant ce lieu rempli de la gloire de Dieu. C’était un honneur qui ne pouvait arriver qu’une fois dans une vie.
Au début de l’histoire, c’était la semaine de service de Zacharie au temple- et il avait le privilège d’offrir l’encens. Pendant qu’il avançait dans le Lieu Saint, il pensait surement à quel point ce jour était spécial. Il était encore plus spécial qu’il l’aurait imaginé- quand un ange du Seigneur nommé Gabriel lui apparut. Dans la bible, seuls deux anges sont nommés : Gabriel (Lc. 1 :19, 26 ; voir Dan. 8 :16 ; 9 : 21) et Michel (Jd 9 ; Apo. 12 :7 ; voir Dan. 10 :13, 21 ; 12 :1). Dachiny Ewekengha also known as Dash,

Republic of Congo.
After working as a receptionist, two years after graduating
from the local university with a master’s degree in Translation in 2014, Dash

He is the very first subtitler in the Republic of
Congo; and was a Remote Project Manager for an audiovisual
