Bio
I currently hold the position of Localization Team Lead at NCH Software, based in Denver, Colorado, USA.
We handle French, Spanish, German and Japanese translation/localization in-house with occasional outsourcing needs.

My specialties are the following:
Computer software localization and translation (strings, help files, documentation, Web pages, application testing and development).
Business, marketing, finance, technical/engineering (electrical, mechanical), telecom and sports translations. Knowledgeable in zoology (marine biology in particular).
Interested in sports translations, especially scuba-diving (I am a PADI Divemaster in my spare time).

I have experience as a localization team leader, a translation/localization project manager, a staff translator and a freelance translator. Before my current position, I worked in-house at J.D. Edwards (now Oracle) (1994-1996), Avaya (2002-2005) and Citrix (2006-2009). I was a project manager for French Translation Services (FTS) in 2006 and in 2009-2010.
As a freelance translator, I have worked on many different projects in many different industries, ranging from my specialties in IT and computers to consumer products, heavy machinery, travel and tourism and outdoor recreation.
