Sono una dottoranda in Letteratura araba moderna e contemporanea alla Sapienza di Roma.Ho tradotto due romanzi dall'arabo all'italiano:"La fila" di Basma Abdel Aziz (Nero, Roma 2018) e "Vita: istruzioni per l'uso" di Ahmed Nàgi (Il Sirente, Fagnano Alto 2016).Attualmente sto traducendo "Il setaccio" di Mikhail Nu'ayma, un saggio di critica letteraria araba (Istituto per l'Oriente, Rome, in uscita).Nel 2015 sono stata stagista presso l'Office of the Refugee Commissioner a Malta, dove ho lavorato come interprete inglese-arabo e arabo-inglese.
I am a PhD candidate in Arabic literature at Sapienza University of Rome.I translated two novels from Arabic to Italian: "La fila [The queue]" by Basma Abdel Aziz (Nero, Roma 2018) and "Vita: istruzioni per l'uso [Using life]" by Ahmed Nàgi (Il Sirente, Fagnano Alto 2016).I am currently translating "Il setaccio [The sieve]" by Mikhail Nu'ayma, an essay in Arabic literary criticism (Istituto per l'Oriente, Rome, forthcoming).In 2015 I was an intern at the Office of the Refugee Commissioner in Malta, where I worked as an interpreter (ar > eng, eng > ar) and a cultural mediator.
