I am a Brooklyn, New York—born native English speaker with a professional background as an interpreter and translator between English and Portuguese and Spanish.  For a number of years, I worked as an escort interpreter, eventually opening a translation business primarily in Portuguese and Spanish, which I ran for about seven years, and which focused on law and pharmacy.

Eventually I transitioned into working full-time for the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch for 12 years. I now work providing interpretation and translation services in primarily in government and law, but also in the fields of social services and psychology.

Aside from my interpretation and translation work, I also provide proofreading, copyediting, and back-of-the-book indexing services.
