Source text - German Nach § 50a Abs.4 5.1 Nr.2 EStG wird die Einkommensteuer bei selbständigen Einkünften aus der Ausübung oder Verwertung einer Tätigkeit als Berufssportler im Rahmen der beschränkten Steuerpflicht im Inland im Wege des Steuerabzugs erhoben.
Der Steuerabzug nach § 50a Abs.4 Nr.2 EStG. ist vom jeweiligen zivilrechtlichen Vergütungs-schuldner für Rechnung des beschränkt steuerpflichtigen Gläubigers ohne Abzug von Kostenersatz vorzunehmen, § 50a Abs.5 S.2 EStG.
Die Steuer entsteht in dem Zeitpunkt, in dem die Vergütungen dem Gläubiger zufließen und ist vom inländischen Vergütungsschuldner bis zum 10. des dem Kalendervierteljahr folgenden Monats an das zuständige Finanzamt anzumelden und abzuführen
Translation - Italian Secondo il par. 50 c. 4 pag. 1 Nr. 2 della legge sulla tassazione dei redditi, l’imposta sul reddito - in caso di reddito autonomo derivante dall’esercizio o dalla valorizzazione di un’attività come sportivo professionista - viene applicata conformemente alle direttive sulla competenza fiscale parziale in Germania tramite ritenuta fiscale.
La ritenuta fiscale secondo il par. 50a c. 4 Nr. 2 della legge sulla tassazione dei redditi è da applicarsi e da addebitare al debitore di un compenso stabilito secondo il diritto civile a favore del creditore soggetto ad imposta limitatamente senza detrazione del rimborso spese, par. 50 c. 5 pag. 2 legge sulla tassazione dei redditi.
La tassa si impone nel momento in cui i compensi dell’avente diritto vengono versati e sono da dichiarare e da versare da parte di colui che è in dovere di versare il compenso tedesco entro il 10 del mese seguente al trimestre secondo calendario.

Source text - German Einhundert Starter für diese Idee zu begeistern war unser Ziel, viel haben uns damals für verrückt erklärt, wir jedoch waren fest davon überzeugt, dass es funktionieren wird. Schlußendlich waren 333 Teilnehmer am Start, die Siegerzeit von Omar Oprandi (ITA) lag bei 3 Stunden 5 Minuten, alle waren begeistert, die Medien haben berichtet, und wir haben viele Erkenntnisse zur Optimierung gewonnen. Der 15. Jänner 1999 war die Geburtsstunde der Mountain Attack. Schritt für Schritt ist die Attack gewachsen: die Teilnehmerzahl hat sich enorm erhöht (12 Nationen nehmen teil), neue Partner und Sponsoren wurden gefunden, Teilnehmer und VIP Lounge wurden eingerichtet, Live Bands haben aufgespielt, Live Bilder von der Strecke wurden ins Ziel projiziert, das Attack Clubbing wurde geboren, die Kurzdistanz Schattberg Race als zusätzliches Modul eingeführt – die Mountain Attack wurde zu einer internationalen Marke im Bereich Tourenskilauf; somit wurde unsere Vision Wirklichkeit!
Translation - Italian Il nostro obiettivo era di attirare cento partecipanti al lancio dell’idea. Molti ci hanno preso per pazzi, ma nonostante ciò eravamo convinti del fatto che avrebbe finito col funzionare tutto a perfezione. Alla fine ci siamo trovati in 333 partecipanti alla linea di partenza. Il tempo ottenuto dal vincitore, Omar Oprandi (ITA), si è attestato sulle 3 ore 5 minuti. Tutti sono rimasti entusiasti, stando a quanto riportato dai mezzi di comunicazione. Abbiamo anche fatto tesoro di diverse lezioni grazie all’esperienza che ci sarebbero servite per ottimizzare le prestazioni nell’organizzare gli eventi che sarebbero seguiti.
L’atto di nascita della Mountain Attack è datato 15 gennaio 1999. Man mano la Attack è cresciuta: il numero dei partecipanti si è alzato di molto (partecipano 12 nazioni), sono stati trovati partner e sponsor, sono state approntate aree di benvenuto e sosta per partecipanti e VIP, si sono esibiti gruppi dal vivo, sono state proiettate immagini dal vivo del percorso all’arrivo, sono state organizzate le serate in discoteca “Attack Clubbing”, è stata introdotta la corsa su distanza breve “Schattberg Race”come ulteriore percorso assolvibile a parte- La Mountain Attack è diventata così un marchio internazionale conosciuto nel settore dello sci-alpinismo, e possiamo quindi dire di aver realizzato il nostro sogno.

Source text - English The brain normally makes only a very small amount of melatonin—around 0.2 milligrams, Brandon Peters-Mathews, MD, a sleep medicine specialist at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, tells Health. For some people, that might not be enough to help them get the rest they need. So melatonin supplements, which typically contain higher doses than the amount your body naturally releases, can be useful to treat sleep disorders and insomnia.
“Supplemental melatonin allows us to get drowsy and ready for sleep," says Dr. Malow. "In addition, melatonin can be calming and help us ‘turn our brains off."

Bio:
Born and raised in Modena, Northern Italy. I am based in Austria on the German border, but I still spend overall 1-3 months in Italy a year as well as some time in English-speaking countries (up to a month overall).
I discovered my gift for languages in 1993 - when I had my first English lessons -; then I started my "career" as a translator in 1996: for five years, I translated almost every day from Latin and Ancient Greek into Italian. At the same time, I started to work on my first digital projects ever, and also took part in the Model European Parliament (1999 Regional Session in Bologna and National Session in Naples; 2000 International Session in Lisbon).
In these lines I have already described the most pivotal experiences for my professional development... however, it does not stop here!
I later completed a BA in International Relations (Faculty of Political Science) at the University of Bologna and a MA in Analysis of Conflicts at the University of Modena (Faculty of Humanities). This means I have a solid background in business and economics, constitutional law, political science, history, sociology and languages.
As a researcher, I focused on comparative analysis of cultural, social, economic and political structures first, and later on history of medicine, healthcare, and science. I took my first translating and consecutive interpreting jobs in 2002 in order to partially fund my BA and MA .Then I continued taking a few projects here and there beside my research and teaching duties.
I then started professional training as a translator, language teacher (Italian/German/English as a foreign/second language), and interpreter.
I have worked in several roles and lived in Italy, Austria, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
Now I am concentrating on language services only (language teaching/training/coaching, translating, consecutive interpreting, intercultural communication training).
Besides, I went through different job-related training courses in all three languages I speak (Italian, English, and German): workplace safety, marketing, sales, customer service. And, of course, training and certifications in fields such as language teaching, translating, interpreting, training, rhetoric... further certifications are planned as well.
I am a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Salzburg, Austria, and of CIOL.
