Bio
Born and raised to a bilingual family, it was natural for me to attend a bilingual school and take my A levels in English. After I had studied British Literature and Culture (and minored in Philosophy) in both Germany and Ireland, I went on to study English Linguistics (and minored in History).
While I went to university, one of my favourite hobbies was translating YouTube videos like Ted Talks or videos of the channel 'CrashCourse'. While I initially had thought to become a teacher for British Literature, I realised that Translation is far more than a hobby and thus became my dream job.
Today, three years into the job, I am proud to say that I am a full-time translator for English and German. To further my education, I am getting a bachelor's degree in Specialist Translation for Technology to stay on top of things and deliver the best service possible.
Besides being interested in Technology, Engineering, and Science professionally, on a personal level I am particularly interested in Literature, especially modern and extravagant literature like videogames as I believe that videogames' stories have an amazing potential to educate and enlighten a player.
