[Logical Thinking and Language: A Key to Successful and Precise Translation]

Logical thinking is the essence of successful and precise language translation. As you see in the word ‘language’ and ‘logic’ shares the same root, ancient Greek ‘logos(λόγος)’, you will understand there is a strong correlation between both. It is because a language is based on a logical thinking system. So if you are looking for a good translator, you should check not only one's language skills but one's logical thinking ability too. It leads me to think of myself as a perfect match. Allow me to introduce myself.


Logical Thinker

I received bachelor’s degree in philosophy after graduating from Konkuk University, Seoul. I have read hundreds of books(in both English and Korean) and wrote thousands of pages of papers(mostly Korean) in the area of philosophy. By this practice, I became a logical thinker. I understand words more effectively and understand the importance of interpreting than just mechanical translating. Most of all I learned how to communicate with minimum misunderstanding. I am certain that I am the right one who can translate your words to the target language, just as what you meant.


Language Skills

I am good at both English and Korean. I was born and lived in Korea for most of my life. With English, my first experience was when living in the USA from 2001 to 2003. Even after I had gone to the university, the strong string between English and myself continues. In 2009, I worked as an interpreter in FA Korea Country Club, Philippines. I translated English articles for AMG Korea Magazine Company from 2009 to 2010. I worked as a lecturer in a private English academy and taught high school students from 2011 to 2016. All the jobs needed high language skill in both English and Korean. I also scored 935 on TOEIC.

Various Knowledge

I also worked as a bartender at the high-class bar in Seongnam from 2016 to 2017. The job required me to communicate with highly educated people from various fields, from engineers to video game producers, I had to be a walking dictionary. I daily read newspapers and all kinds of books to educate myself. It didn't make me an expert in every field but taught me the basics of various fields(such as trading, economics, architecture, engineering, fine arts, finance, etc.).


Fast and Efficient

I am fast and efficient. Since I had done my military duty as a government office worker for 2 years, I am skilled in all kinds of document tools like MS Word and PowerPoint. It is also easy to fix schedules with me because I wake up and sleep at the same time. I also have a fast typing speed. 47 words/min in English and 500 letters/min in Korean. I am most fast and efficient in translating English to Korean.


Conclusion

I work fast and efficient base on strong understandings of logic and language. I am fluent in both English and Korean and I can translate most documents in various fields. I promise you that I will provide the most successful and precise translation results for the fastest time.
