I completed high school with languages as my major in Finland 1969, having lived and worked in Slough (London) a year. Moved to Malmö in Sweden for my engineering and basic economics studies. Ever since the exam in 1972 I've had employments that took me all over Europe and Middle East, picking up languages on the way (Romania for 12 months in 1978). The mid 70's I worked in Nuclear Power Plants in Sweden as well as Finland and later in Swedish and Danish Oil Refineries as well as Norwegian North Sea Oil land reserves. In Saudi-Arabia I was our company's Project manager in a Prefab Concrete Factory besides being an export sales engineer throughout Europe. For 4 years I also worked as a teacher in physics, handicraft and Finnish. Talking 8 languages I was confident to start my own freelance translation company in 1988. And here we go.
