I have been a free-lanced translator/interpreter for 35 years (though I was employed by Siemens for a 7-year period between 2011-18 to work on the Budapest M4 Metro Project) in in contractual relationship with several companies and translation agencies.My favourite areas are railway transportation (wayside & onboard technologies), power plant and power grid systems, low voltage systems, engineering/machinery, energy efficiency, legal issues (contracts) but I have experience in many other fields as well (see the list in point "Expertise").I use memoQ 9.8.8 and ABBYY FineReader besides Microsoft Office applications. As I also play and compose music, I have my home recording studio with the required SW and HW that I also use for high quality on-line interpreting.
