Source text - English Boom times are back in Silicon Valley. Office parks along Highway 101 are once again adorned with the insignia of hopeful start-ups. Rents are soaring, as is the demand for fancy vacation homes in resort towns like Lake Tahoe, a sign of fortunes being amassed. The Bay Area was the birthplace of the semiconductor industry and the computer and internet companies that have grown up in its wake. Its wizards provided many of the marvels that make the world feel futuristic, from touch-screen phones to the instantaneous searching of great libraries to the power to pilot a drone thousands of miles away. The revival in its business activity since 2010 suggests progress is motoring on.
So it may come as a surprise that some in Silicon Valley think the place is stagnant, and that the rate of innovation has been slackening for decades. Peter Thiel, a founder of PayPal, and the first outside investor in Facebook, says that innovation in America is “somewhere between dire straits and dead”. Engineers in all sorts of areas share similar feelings of disappointment. And a small but growing group of economists reckon the economic impact of the innovations of today may pale in comparison with those of the past.

Across the board, innovations fueled by cheap processing power are taking off. Computers are beginning to understand natural language. People are controlling video games through body movement alone—a technology that may soon find application in much of the business world. Three-dimensional printing is capable of churning out an increasingly complex array of objects, and may soon move on to human tissues and other organic material.
An innovation pessimist could dismiss this as “jam tomorrow”. But the idea that technology-led growth must either continue unabated or steadily decline, rather than ebbing and flowing, is at odds with history. Chad Syverson of the University of Chicago points out that productivity growth during the age of electrification was lumpy. Growth was slow during a period of important electrical innovations in the late 19th and early 20th centuries; then it surged.

Fino all'anno 1992, l'A.I.Psi. condivide con la S.P.I. (Società Psicoanalitica Italiana) storia e tradizione.
La SPI fu fondata il 7 giugno 1925 dal Prof. Marco Levi Bianchini, direttore dell'Ospedale Psichiatrico Provinciale e Docente all'Università di Napoli, con lo scopo di approfondire e di diffondere lo studio teorico e la pratica clinica della psicoanalisi. Nel 1932 il Dott. Edoardo Weiss ne diventa presidente. Weiss si era formato come psicoanalista a Vienna nella Wiener Psychoanalytische Vereinigung, la prima Società Psicoanalitica creata da Sigmund Freud. Weiss riorganizza la Società. Fa parte di questa riorganizzazione l'introduzione formale nello Statuto, nel novembre 1933, della formazione personale del candidato secondo le direttive dell'I.P.A., l'Associazione Internazionale di Psicoanalisi voluta da Sigmund Freud per assicurare un approccio comune nei vari paesi. Elementi fondanti della formazione psicoanalitica sono: il trattamento psicoanalitico del candidato, i seminari teorici e clinici presso l'Istituto di Formazione e le Supervisioni da parte di analisti esperti del trattamento psicoanalitico di pazienti da parte del candidato. La Società Psicoanalitica Italiana (S.P.I.) venne ammessa a far parte dell'I.P.A. come una Società componente a tutti gli effetti nel 1936. A quel tempo facevano parte della Società 8 soci tra i quali, oltre a Levi Bianchini ed Edoardo Weiss, ricordiamo Cesare Musatti, Nicola Perrotti, Alessandra Tomasi di Palma ed Emilio Servadio, tutti futuri Presidenti della Società. L'organizzazione dell'Istituto di Formazione è opera di C. Musatti, N. Perrotti ed E. Servadio. Il 26 luglio 1992 uno dei padri fondatori della S.P.I., il Prof. Emilio Servadio, assieme ad altri membri che avevano svolto ruoli di rilievo nella S.P.I., rivolsero al Comitato Esecutivo dell'IPA la domanda di poter costituire una Società componente, denominata Associazione Italiana di Psicoanalisi (A.I.Psi.), scindendosi in questo modo dalla S.P.I. Le ragioni del dissenso dalla società di appartenenza erano sostanzialmente di ordine etico ed istituzionale. L'A.I.Psi. è stata fondata sotto gli auspici di J. Sandler, all'epoca Presidente dell'IPA, e le attività della nuova Associazione sono iniziate con uno "Sponsoring Committee", composto da Adam Limentani (chairman), Yolanda Gampel, Gemma Jappe e Litza Green. Il primo Presidente dell'A.I.Psi. è stato Adriano Giannotti, prematuramente scomparso nel 1994. Successivamente, sono stati eletti Presidenti Jacqueline Amati Mehler, Andreas Giannakoulas, Carlo Vittorio Todesco, Jorge Canestri, Adolfo Pazzagli. Attualmente il Presidente è Giovanna Ambrosio. Il primo impegno dell'A.I.PSI. è stato quello di formulare uno Statuto che rispecchiasse il comune progetto di vita istituzionale e scientifica e, particolarmente, di un Istituto di training che garantisse al meglio la formazione dei candidati.
Aspetti propositivi e criteri fondanti
La nostra principale preoccupazione è stata quella di costituire un Istituto di training in grado di offrire agli allievi un percorso formativo di apprendimento ampio e integrato negli aspetti teorici e clinici, a cui tutti i didatti e anche i membri ordinari potessero dare un contributo al meglio delle loro energie e competenze.
Un punto essenziale è stato quello dei limiti della funzione didattica, che abbiamo voluto regolata per statuto secondo criteri tali da prevenire i rischi della distorsione in direzione del potere personale (limiti di età, limite del numero dei candidati, monitoraggio continuo degli allievi da parte dell'intero collegio dei didatti, ecc.). Un altro punto di vitale importanza è stato quello di stabilire il principio della formazione permanente, in grado di mirare non soltanto ad offrire ai più giovani delle continue occasioni di approfondimento teorico-clinico, ma a costituire anche per i soci più anziani un'area di reciproca garanzia, di aperto confronto e di integrazione sui temi scientifici e istituzionali. A questo fine, nella nostra Associazione si attribuisce grande valore all'attività scientifica, come momento continuo di incontro societario, come palestra di esercizio alla comunicazione e alla discussione. sia nei contenuti che nella metodologia, come il miglior presupposto per ancorare la pratica clinica quotidiana a un campo teorico comune, in tutte le sue articolazioni e diversificazioni. Un tentativo, questo, per favorire una ricca e intensa vita societaria come premessa indispensabile per perseguire un altro dei nostri obiettivi basilari: quello di uno scambio costante con le altre Società dell'IPA, in una dimensione aperta ed internazionale. In questa stessa direzione, dal 1997, è stata costituita la rivista Psicoanalisi, semestrale di lavori specificamente psicoanalitici, aperto a tutti i colleghi italiani e stranieri.

S.P.I., 7 Haziran 1925'te Psikiyatri Hastanesi İl Müdürü ve Napoli Üniversitesi Profesörü Prof. Marco Levi Bianchini tarafından psikanalizin teorik çalışmasını ve klinik uygulamasını derinleştirmek ve yaymak amacıyla kuruldu. 1932'de Dr. Edoardo Weiss başkan oldu. Weiss, Viyana'da Sigmund Freud tarafından oluşturulan ilk Psikanalitik Topluluğu olan Wiener Psychoanalytische Vereinigung'da psikanalist olarak yetiştirildi. Weiss derneği yeniden düzenledi. Bu yeniden yapılanmanın bir kısmı, 1933 yılının Kasım ayında, çeşitli ülkelerde ortak bir yaklaşım sağlamak için Sigmund Freud tarafından görevlendirilen Uluslararası Psikanaliz Birliği direktiflerine göre adayın kişisel oluşumunun Kasım 1933'teki Statüye resmi olarak tanıtılmasıdır. Psikanalitik eğitimin kurucu unsurları şunlardır: Adayın psikanalitik tedavisi ve aday tarafından hastaların psikanalitik tedavisi konusunda uzman analistler tarafından Oluşturma ve Denetleme Enstitüsü'ndeki teorik ve klinik seminerler. İtalyan Psikanaliz Topluluğu (S.P.I.) 1936'da tam üye bir dernek statüsünde I.P.A.'nın bir parçası olarak kabul edildi. O sırada topluluğun 8 üyesi vardı; bunlar arasında Levi Bianchini ve Edoardo Weiss'ın yanı sıra, Topluluğun gelecekteki tüm Başkanları Cesare Musatti, Nicola Perrotti, Alessandra Tomasi di Palma ve Emilio Servadio'yu hatırlıyoruz. Eğitim Enstitüsünün organizasyonu C. Musatti, N. Perrotti ve E. Proaktif yönler ve temel kriterler
Asıl ilgilendiğimiz, tüm öğretmenlerin ve üyelerin, enerjilerine ve becerilerine en iyi katkıda bulunabilecekleri teorik ve klinik açıdan geniş ve bütünleşik bir öğrenme yolu sağlamaktı.
Önemli bir nokta, kişisel yetenek gelişimi (yaş limitleri, aday sayısını belirleme, öğrencilerin sürekli takip edilmeleri, öğretmenler kurulu denetimi vb.) yolundan sapma risklerini önlemek gibi belirlenmiş kriterlere göre yasal düzenlemelerle istediğimiz öğretme yöntemi işlevsel olarak sınırlandı. Yaşamsal öneme sahip bir diğer nokta ise hayat boyu öğrenme prensibini tesis etmek, sadece gençlere sürekli derinlemesine teorik ve klinik çalışma fırsatları değil, yaşça daha büyük olan meslektaşların da karşılıklı güven ile açık toplantılar yapabilecekleri ve kurumsal konularla bilimsel konuları bütünleştirebilecekleri bir alan oluşturmaktır. Bu amaçla Derneğimizde, sürekli devam eden kurumsal toplantı halinde iletişim ve tartışma eğitim alanı tahsis ederek bilimsel faaliyete büyük değer verilmektedir. Hem içeriğinde hem de metodoloji günlük klinik pratiği ortak bir teorik alanda, tüm eklemlenmelerinde ve çeşitlendirmelerinde sabitlemenin en iyi önkoşulu olarak oluşturuldu. Bu, temel amaçlarımızdan bir başkasını takip etmek için vazgeçilmez bir öncül olarak zengin ve yoğun bir dernek yaşamını, herkese açık ve uluslararası boyutta diğer I.P.A. dernekleri ile sürekli değiş tokuşu teşvik etme girişimidir.
1997'den beri bu doğrultuda altı ayda bir yayımlanan özellikle İtalyan ve yabancı meslektaşlara yönelik psikanalitik çalışmalar dergisi kuruldu.
