Source text - English 3. TERM.
This AGREEMENT will commence on the Effective Date and shall continue for 1 (one) year thereon. At the end of this period, the Agreement may be automatically extended for consecutive periods of 1 (one) year, unless either party notifies the other of their intention not to extend it, at least 60 (sixty) in advance of such period.
1. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR
The PARTIES acknowledge and agree that CONSULTANT is and at all times shall remain an independent contractor and is not an employee of XXXXXXX. Neither party to this AGREEMENT intends to create an employer/employee relationship as a result of any work requirements arising out of this AGREEMENT. CONSULTANT shall be responsible for all of his individual or company federal, state and local, direct and indirect, income and other payroll-associated taxes, imposts, or duties and indemnifies XXXXXXXX from any liability should CONSULTANT fail to timely make such payments.

Este CONTRATO comenzará en la Fecha de Vigencia y continuará durante 1 (un) año a partir de la misma. Al finalizar ese período, el Acuerdo podrá prorrogarse automáticamente por períodos consecutivos de 1 (un) año, a menos que cualquiera de las partes notifique a la otra su intención de no prorrogar el mismo, con al menos 60 (sesenta) días de anticipación a dicho período.
4. CONTRATISTA INDEPENDIENTE.
Las PARTES reconocen y acuerdan que el CONSULTOR es y en todo momento se mantendrá como contratatista independiente y que el mismo no es empleado de XXXXXX. Ninguna de las partes de este CONTRATO tiene la intención de crear una relación empleador / empleado como consecuencia de requerimiento alguno de trabajo que surja de este CONTRATO. El CONSULTOR será responsable por todos sus impuestos, imposiciones u obligaciones de carácter individual o societario, federal, provincial o local, directo o indirecto, relacionado con los ingresos o contribuciones relativas a la nómina de empleados y mantendrá indemne a XXXXXXXX respecto de cualquier obligación en el caso de que el CONSULTOR no efectúe en debido tiempo dichos pagos.
