Briefly, I am 41 years old, English born and bred and have lived in Italy for 15 years. I am fluent in Italian and carry out Italian to English and English to Italian technical translations. I will carry out terminology research for translations in other fields as I only feel comfortable with a translation when I understand what I am reading. I never do literal translations but adapt a phrase in Italian to its counterpart in English.
