Gad Niyomukunzi is a Burundian writer and translator known as Gad Brighton. He has bachelor degree in English Language and Literature earned at University of Burundi. He is a graduate from University of Sydney via online studies. He has over 5 years of experience in translating and interpreting fields. Gad has been working with Travod International limited for two years whereby he has translated thousands and thousands of words.

Apart from his work, he coaches young people to discover their talents and turn them into business or career. He is passionate about making a positive impact in his community. He is an alumnus of YALI East Africa Cohort 26. He also volunteers for U.S Embassy Bujumbura via American Corners whereby he inspires young entrepreneurs.
