Born in Munich (Germany) I grew up in a bilingual Family and came up speaking Turkish and German. During my studies of Physics (Microtechnologie at FH Zwickau) I found my already good knowledge of English very helpful and decided to increase my abilities. So I discovered my passion for languages as well as science. I am teaching Turkish-language classes for German natives since 2006. In 2019 I had my first class in English. In 2010 I started translating German documents to Turkish Immigrants and helped with their Applications for citizenship or right of residence. Also in 2010 I started working at the Max-Planck-Institute for Microstructure Physics in Halle (Saale) as an Technician and link between temporary Researchers and permanent staff. Here I deepened my knowledge of English specifically in the field of Physics. After moving to Düsseldorf (Germany) in 2014 for personal reasons, I began working as a SEO for a small German company (Autrado - Matthias Mielchen) and their clients. In this period of my live, I got familiar with Social Media, marketing and advertising lingo in German as well as English. I also widened my personal knowledge in the field of medicine in order to translate for Turkish and Bulgarian immigrants (with Turkish background). My ability to read the Cyrillic alphabet helped me with the secondary. One of my hobbies is reading especially religious books and history novels. This also helped me improve my English since I am only reading / listening to Audiobooks in this tongue. |
