Source text - English The study of geologic structures has been of prime importance in economic geology, both petroleum geology and mining geology. Folded and faulted rock strata commonly form traps that accumulate and concentrate fluids such as petroleum and natural gas. Similarly, faulted and structurally complex areas are notable as permeable zones for hydrothermal fluids, resulting in concentrated areas of base and precious metal ore deposits. Veins of minerals containing various metals commonly occupy faults and fractures in structurally complex areas. These structurally fractured and faulted zones often occur in association with intrusive igneous rocks. They often also occur around geologic reef complexes and collapse features such as ancient sinkholes. Deposits of gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, and other metals, are commonly located in structurally complex areas.

Bio
Languages and cultures are my passion. I have been studying languages since early age. I went to English school when I was young, which provided the advantage of speaking English fluently and professionally although living in Egypt, an Arabic speaking country.
I completed my MSc. degree at Royal Holloway University of London in petroleum Geoscience with a distinctive grade which proved my ability of critical and analytical writing in English.
In 2020, I started my PhD at the University of Aberdeen.
I have 12-year working experience in the Energy and the oil & gas industry. I Worked for Slb, BG-Group & Royal Dutch Shell.
To fulfill my growing interest in languages, I decided to take the professional way and study languages in official accredited institutes.
I studies French for 4 years in "Centre Culturel Francais au Caire". Then, I passed the B2 DELF exam which certified my advanced level as a francophone.
Being captivated with the South American culture, I decided to improve my communication with Spanish speaking people. I pursued my way to build up my proficiency in Spanish by studying Spanish for 3 years in the "Instituto Cervantes en el Cairo" till I passed my advanced level exam C1.
