Born in Guangdong, China, I grew up speaking Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. Then I moved to the United States and lived there for over nine years. I had also lived in the Dominican Republic for a short period of time. 

Professionally, I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a minor in Spanish. Then I spent a year working as a Marketing Specialist at an international biotech company located in Miami, FL.
