I started working in the translation industry before the turn of the millennium, first as a project manager in a translation agency, then as a freelance translator. Google was just taking its first steps back then, go figure. Various events led me to becoming a language teacher. A competitive exam opened me the doors of the French school system, and after 2005 I haunted classrooms for three lustres. Making a U-turn, in 2021 I put myself again in the translator's shoes. A hint of restlessness in my nature, I think. I obtained a master's degree in specialized translation to revamp my skills and I am now cooperating with various agencies in a growing palette of domains: in the last couple of years I worked on 100+projects. (Between us, I enjoy nothing more than the research work needed to become proficient in a new field: it feels each time like the discovery of a new country. That's great for restless people).
