I'm 22 years old and I was born in Birmingham England. I was born to Sylheti parents that spoke very little English. This allowed me to become fluent in Sylheti. It also helped hone my interpretating skills, because I interpreted messages for them. When they did not understand formal English, I explained it to them. So I am very comfortable interpreting both formal and informal information. I find it easy to understand what others are trying to convey and I am also quite empathetic. I completed my secondary school education and now am on my way to studying for my degree.
