Background
My name is Marion, and
I am an English-to-German
and Finnish-to-German Legal Translator based in Finland. 14 years
working as a lawyer and specialist in labour law and traffic law, German legal
language is a matter of course for me.
In Finnish Lapland's
wilderness and at the lake's shore, I fell in love with Finnish Grammar. While
reading grammar books, my dream of working with languages was born. I achieved
this dream when I started to work as a freelance translator in December 2017. I
use my professional skills and knowledge so that my clients can benefit from
it.
Subject Matter
My particular specialized subject areas as a native German lawyer are contracts,
policies, HR, EU affairs, trade register excerpts and finance.
In addition, I often
work in the field of patents, tourism and marketing, as well as health-related
content and clinical trials.

translations with your clients in the future. My skills and about 20 years of practical experience in the legal field can help you
and your clients to convert English or Finnish legal content into accurate
German words.
I always match the tone
of voice in my translation to the required document. My clients love working
with me because I know the field I am working in from my legal education, I
never miss a deadline, and I'm not afraid to ask questions. I aim to help my
clients get the best possible translation in the target language.
I will be available if
you need me urgently. Generally, I have good availability for a period of one
to two weeks ahead. It is often possible to squeeze in something urgent if
necessary.
