English to Tagalog: A Deeper Sense of Failure
Source text - English A Deeper Sense of Failure
Many people say that we face failure over and over again so that we would be able to understand our true nature. Failure continues to tell us that there is something more important than the shame that goes with it – that whatever we failed to achieve does not prove who we are, but proves that, that moment there now is the true you, and that you should base your next actions from that you and not from the you before.
From your pain you learn to let go, and then you see yourself and understand that who you are at that moment, is the real you and not the one who you are trying to be. Sometimes we do not see that what we really want is not what we really want. But in failure when we are empty, we see what is most essential.
We think our achievements tell who we are but such are just mere awards or medals that will never matter in the end; these lose their color and shine – ornaments that may mean something but it doesn’t mean it is you. There are good reasons why we lose chances, and why we fail. Failure is a wonderful opportunity to see your own self- it maybe a chance to strengthen and purify it, or to enrich it a bit more, or perhaps a chance to understand what or who matters to you most.
So I would say that success is one wonderful experience, but failure is a much important experience –only if you look beyond what you failed to gain or achieve; if you see only yourself, and understand the truth about who you are. In fact, there is much more to gain in losing if you are eager in claiming it.
Translation - Tagalog Ang Mas Malalim na Kahulugan ng Pagkabigo
