1. As a translator you always strive to provide perfect translations!
a. This requires your understanding the terminology, local conventions, standards etc.
b. You should know who your target audience is.
2. Format must be perfect! This means that all charts, graphs, and images must be duplicated.
3. You must meet your deadlines!
4. You must be available even after you turn in your translation for any edits.
5. You should always be studying and learning usage of new words and stay on top of changes.
6. You should always be professional.
7. Never translate or transliterate a company name unless you’re instructed to do so as they are trademarked.
Translation - Urdu مترجمین کو درج ذیل اصولوں کی تعمیل کرنی چاہیے۔
۱۔ ایک مترجم کے طور پر آپ ہمیشہ درست ترجمہ فراہم کرنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں!
۱- اس کے لیے آپ کو اصطلاحات، مقامی کنونشنز، معیارات وغیرہ کو سمجھنا ہوگا۔

۴۔ ترجمہ کرنے کے بعد بھی آپ کو کسی بھی ترمیم کے لیے دستیاب ہونا چاہیے۔
۵۔ آپ کو ہمیشہ نئے الفاظ کا مطالعہ کرنا اور استعمال کرنا سیکھنا چاہیے اور تبدیلیوں میں سرفہرست رہنا چاہیے۔
۶۔ آپ کو ہمیشہ پیشہ ور رہنا چاہئے۔
۷۔ کسی بھی کمپنی کے نام کا ترجمہ یا نقل نہ کریں جب تک کہ آپ کو ایسا کرنے کی ہدایت نہ کی جائے کیونکہ وہ تجارتی نشان ہیں۔

२. प्रारूप सही होना चाहिए! इसका मतलब है कि सभी चार्ट, ग्राफ़ और छवियों को प्रतिरूप किया जाना चाहिए।
३. आपको अपनी समय सीमा पूरी करनी होगी!
४. किसी भी संपादन के लिए अपना अनुवाद करने के बाद भी आपको उपलब्ध रहना चाहिए।
५. आपको हमेशा नए शब्दों का अध्ययन और उसके प्रयोग को सीखना चाहिए और परिवर्तनों के शीर्ष पर रहना चाहिए।
६. आपको हमेशा पेशेवर रहना चाहिए।
७. किसी कंपनी के नाम का अनुवाद या लिप्यंतरण तब तक न करें जब तक कि आपको ऐसा करने का निर्देश न दिया जाए क्योंकि वे ट्रेडमार्क हैं।
