A 100% native Portuguese speaker (and German), I lived in Rio de Janeiro until I was 19, and there, I had my first job as a private teacher for all fields of education, from German and Portuguese to Mathematics and Chemistry.  I then moved to Germany, where I studied in the Johannes Gutenberg University in the Translation area and began to work as a freelance translator in several internation companies, such as PMS Traduções, RWS, Afiix Sollutions, Apple Music...

In addition to my professionals experience in Brazil and Germany (also remotely), I have translated two volumes of the book of the Brothers Grimm, which will be published by the Editor "Vitrola", in Brazil.

Both as reviser and translator, I am active in the tourism and hospitality sector, education, legal and literary.  My strength likes in my ability to provide flowing English, Portuguese and German text, translating the message rather than providing a literal translation. This is an important requirement in my specialist areas.

Before a work, I do always need to check the main area, so that I can guarantee the quality of my work. If I believe it is outside my area of expertise, I decline it, because providing a top-quality translation, not even a minute after the agreed deadline, is very important to me, and I would rather turn down a job than fail on either count.
