Born in Leipzig, but also lived in Portugal, Paraguay and Brazil during childhood. German mother and Portuguese father.

Spent the year after school in Sarajevo as a language assistant in German (advanced) classes. Finished my bachelors in translation (languages: German, English and Spanish) in Leipzig in late 2021. In late 2021 and early 2022, I worked at a translation agency as an intern (terminology work) and later as a translation manager. In summer 2022, I taught German as a foreign language (for beginners) to refugees at a German school. I finished my masters in Granada (Spain) with specialization in audiovisual translation in September 2023. In 2024 I was a translation and clear language trainee at the European Parliament in Luxembourg. I am now a freelance translator (since late 2024) and work on audiovisual projects such as audiodescriptions and subtitles.
