I am a British-Spanish freelance sworn translator appointed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain. A full member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, I am also Associate Lecturer in Translation Studies at the University of York and The Open University, UK. Previously, I worked as Lecturer in Translation Studies at the University of Manchester, where I obtained my PhD in 2021. From 2021 to 2022, I was Associate Lecturer in Translation Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London. My areas of expertise include certified/sworn translations in Spain and the UK, medical translation, and MT post-editing. I specialise in ACRO and medical certificates, birth, death and marriage certificates.
