Ineke Crezee is a Professor of Translation and Interpreting at Auckland University of Technology, specialising in health and medical translation. She is also a Registered Nurse and is author of Introduction to healthcare for interpreters and translators, which has appeared in special iterations for those working with Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Russian, Turkish. She studied Translation Studies at the University of Amsterdam, completing both a 4-year Diploma and an MA, a BA and MA in English at VU University, Amsterdam, and a PhD in Applied Language Studies at Auckland University of Technology. Ineke is a New Zealand Registered Nurse and specialises in health and medical translation from English to Dutch and from Dutch to English. She has translated a number of books, both novels and textbooks. She translated her first novel as a 21-year old student of translation. Ineke has 35 years experience in health translation. |
