I am native Norwegian, living in Norway. When I was six years old I got a present from my aunt, who lived in France and still does. It was a puzzle showing the map of France, with all the names of the different regions and short texts in French. I was immediately fascinated, and my interest in languages began right then. 

My professional background is in graphic design, illustration, advertising and marketing, I have worked 30+ years in the industry. Most of the time I have run my own agency as a designer and manager, and have also offered copywriting, text edits, proofreading and translations to my clients. 

A few years ago I volunteered to participate in a group of people translating Pinterest from English to Norwegian. I loved the process and the experience, and found it to be very satisfying work.

I have a wide range of hobbies/interests and experience both personally and professionally, and love the variety. I have worked with text and design for amusement parks and financial reports for international groups, as well as many other areas in between.

In addition to design, writing and language I find much joy in sewing, knitting, crocheting, paper crafts, DIY, gardening, music, concerts and festivals, cooking, dancing, photography, drawing and painting, hiking and travelling.
