I am a Malay born to a bi-lingual family in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Having English Teachers as parents, English is widely spoken within our family apart from our native language, Malay.
I have and interest in Arts, particularly Architecture and its history. Architecture has its own "language" that is universally understood and appreciated. It is a precise "language" that when "spoken" properly can result in amazing architectural wonders.
Language itself is very interesting. It can soothe a worried mind or create angst. Being precise with a language can mean the difference between calm and chaos.
Therefore, this understanding of the importance in language precision or accuracy has led to my interest in Translation (Malay-English-Malay). Especially so when over the years, I have come across a lot of inaccurate translation of English to Malay in various medium such as signs or subtitle, which are quite humorous in a way.
Hence, I believe with this understanding and awareness, i can provide a high quality translation from English to Malay and vice versa.
