Source text - English The Cherry Blossom Parade and Festival celebrates the gift of 3000 cherry trees from the city of Tokyo to the people of Washington DC in 1912. The spectacular parade takes an entire morning to move along Constitution Avenue. Marching bands from across the nation and around the world fill this grand avenue from 7-17th Streets, with colour and music. Spectacular floats, costumed dance troupes, giant helium ballons, celebrity guests and the stunning Cherry Blossom queen herself all appear in the parade, which gathers donations for charities which give opportunities to disadvantaged young people.

We'll examine individual skill
that brought the world to its feet
[0014]
00:01:39:15
00:01:44:11
and bizarre additions that prove football
still has a great sense of humour.
[0015]
00:01:44:14
00:01:49:00
To kick off, we'll have a quick word with
the England captain, David Beckham.
[0016]
00:01:49:03
00:01:52:16
- Hi, David. How are you?
- I'm very well, thank you.
[0017]
00:01:52:19
00:01:55:10
What was your first
World Cup memory?
[0018]
00:01:55:13
00:01:58:12
My first memory of the World Cup
[0019]
00:01:58:15
00:02:03:24
was probably Bryan Robson
scoring the record-time goal
[0020]
00:02:04:02
00:02:07:20
in Spain against France,
because Bryan Robson was my hero.
[0021]
00:02:07:23
00:02:12:06
Seeing him play for England
and captain England and scoring a goal,
[0022]
00:02:12:09
00:02:14:11
that was a dream for me.
[0023]
00:02:14:14
00:02:17:24
What is your most memorable
World Cup moment as a fan?
[0024]
00:02:18:02
00:02:23:00
As a fan, probably watching the team
get through to the semi-final
[0025]
00:02:23:03
00:02:26:17
and losing out to Germany
when we missed the two penalties.
[0026]
00:02:26:20
00:02:33:17
I think that was a memory,
not a good one, but that's a memory.
Translation - French SOUS-TITRES POUR UN DVD PUBLICITAIRE DE GILLETTE POUR LA CDM 2006 (limité à 35 caractères/line):
Nous allons observer les prouesses
individuelles qui nous on fait rêver
[0014]
00:01:39:15
00:01:44:11
ainsi que des moments insolites
et plein d’humour.
[0015]
00:01:44:14
00:01:49:00
Pour commencer, voici le capitaine
de l’Angleterre, David Beckham.
[0016]
00:01:49:03
00:01:52:16
- Bonjour David, comment allez-vous?
- Très bien, merci.
[0017]
00:01:52:19
00:01:55:10
Quel est votre plus ancien souvenir
de la Coupe du Monde ?
[0018]
00:01:55:13
00:01:58:12
Mon plus vieux souvenir ...
[0019]
00:01:58:15
00:02:03:24
c’est sûrement quand Bryan Robson
a marqué le but le plus rapide
[0020]
00:02:04:02
00:02:07:20
en Espagne, contre la France.
Bryan Robson était mon héros.
[0021]
00:02:07:23
00:02:12:06
Le voir jouer avec l’Angleterre,
en tant que capitaine, et marquer,
[0022]
00:02:12:09
00:02:14:11
c’était un rêve pour moi.
[0023]
00:02:14:14
00:02:17:24
