Bio
I have graduated from University of Istanbul, department of Italian Language and Literature. I studied one semester at University of Perugia as an exchange student for the Erasmus program.

I worked in various different fields before from Data Entry operator to Callcenter Agent. During the time i worked as a callcenter agen , i had a lot of experience communicating with customers both from Turkey and from other countries. I sometimes used my English skills to assist our clients from foreign countries. The time spent working at callcenters taught me valuable lessons about human relations and customer care.

I briefly worked as sales representative at a bookstore in Sultanahmet which was aimed at tourist target customers. I had the opportunity to communicate with the tourists and improve my English skills and helped me tremendously to gain experience on my salesmanship skills as well as my customer relations skills.

I had an experience at a visa consulting firm for over 2 years which i worked as an operations coordinator. During the time i worked there i had the opportunity to hone my communication, sales and customer relations skills. I also learned visa application procedure and visa regulations of several different countries. Eventhough our customer base was predominantly Turkish i had the  chance to communicate with plenty of foreign nationals. I did a lot of translation and interpreter work in this position. I translated some of the visa application documents like birth certificates, company documents etc. I also wrote visa application letters directed to the embassy of a country which we apply a visa for. I sometimes directly got in contact with the embassies or go to embassies in person.

I quit the visa consılting firm shortly before the pandemic. During the pandemic i took a keen interest in video game development and started learnig the Unity game engine and C# programming language. I participated in various Game Jams, made and published some of my small games on Itch.io. I started working at OnRush Studio as a developer. OnRush Studio is  a video game studio which makes games for Browsers and Mobile platforms, the company is based in Netherlands. I worked there for about 2.5 years. I had  various tasks in the company such as importing and editing the assets used in the games, QA testing, fixing bugs, updating and editing the wiki page of some of the games etc.

Since i resigned from my position in OnRush Studios, i have been working on freelance projects in video game development and working on other projects like Youtube content creation. I wish also to use my language skills to work on freelance translation projects.
