I am a Spanish to English translator based in Santiago, Chile and I specialize in law, business and finance. During the nearly six years that I have worked as a translator, I have completed jobs relating to law, business, art, social science, and a variety of other topics. Before deciding to dedicate myself completely to freelance work at the end of 2003, I worked at Internet Securities, which is a news bank that sorts and translates financial and business news articles from various emerging economies for institutional clients.

I am a graduate of Yale University and have received various accolades for my writing including journalism awards, essay recognition, and university honors, not to mention positive feedback from my clients.

I have translated for various companies, ranging from a multinational loan guarantor to Boeing to the government of Chile. I have also worked for academics, including revising a Harvard doctoral thesis and translating an article for a renowned economics journal.
