Personal credentials:
Degree in German and linguistics (1982-86) since when I have worked twelve years purely as a freelance translator and also part-time on selected projects.
Trados Studio-equipped.
HND in mechanical engineering (1991-94). Made a conscious switch in direction and have now worked two decades in manufacturing and other industries, while maintaining my skills and keeping professionally up to date as a translator.
