I am a native speaker of Italian and have been working as a freelance translator since 1996. The language pairs I work with are: DE>IT, EN>IT, and ES>IT.

After completing my studies (Liceo Lingustico and Scuola Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori), I lived and worked in Germany as a foreign language correspondent and in Spain as an Italian teacher. This allowed me to deepen my knowledge of the languages I had studied.

On my return to Italy, I continued to work as a foreign language correspondent before becoming self-employed to pursue my passion for translation. 

Over the years, I have worked in many fields and sectors. However, I have always preferred technical translations, manuals, and commercial and legal documents. 

My approach to each translation project is a methodical one: I start by carrying out a thorough research of the terminology. Then, I transfer the meaning from the source language to the target language. I am meticulous in my adherence to the client's style guide. Finally, I carry out a software-assisted quality control (Xbench and QA check within the CAT tool) and a final check of the text.
