Bio
I have been a professional translator for over 30 years. I have experience of a wide range of subjects but specialise in automotive, IT and central heating systems.
I trade under the name word class translations which I describe as follows: "word class translations is a bespoke translating service that specialises in commissions that require thoughtful, skilful and creative use of language. We recognise that translating texts such as legal documents, press releases, websites or advertising copy requires much more than a word-for-word rendering of the original. Our aim is always to produce a translation that uses the terminology, idiom, style and tone that is familiar to and appropriate for the target audience, and thereby more truly communicates the meaning intended.
If your translation requirements demand not only familiarity with the subject matter but precise and apt use of language, then we believe we offer the services you need.
We have experience of translating documents in a vast range of commercial and technical fields from company accounts to microelectronics, varying in style from formal letters to advertising slogans."
