My name is Chaya Cohen, and I've been translating professionally for over 10 years. I was born and grew up in London, and came to Israel to study at the age of 19. I've been here ever since. In addition to translating, I teach English. When I'm not teaching or translating, I love reading and going for long walks with my family, out in the beautiful surroundings just outside my door.
I specialize in writing and translating for voluntary societies. In addition I am experienced in journalism, business promotion, marketing and copy-writing.

I studied and graduated at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in the field of Social Work, and therefore have expert knowledge in the fields of Social Work, Sociology and Psychology, in English and Hebrew.
I have experience writing and translating teaching materials and instruction manuals in a range of fields.

English is my mother tongue but Hebrew has become my native language since 1983, enabling me to translate fast and fluently into both languages.
