Following a four-year training course in modern languages at the Université
François Rabelais de Tours, and after more than 5 years as Freelance Translator from English into French and from Italian into French, my fields of translation expertise are particularly specialised in the technical and engineering sectors:
translation of technical and instruction manuals for machine tools, engines,
installations in the petroleum, electrical and automobile sectors, and
diverse technical equipment. Having also a particular acquaintance with the
world of tourism, I also carry out translations of internet sites concerning
the hotels business and the international tourism sector, as well as
translations in commercial, medical and legal fields. Each project is
carried out using Trados software and benefits from careful proofreading and
detailed correction with the aid of Prolexis software. I am also available
for any proofreading or correction projects for translations into French.
The tariff to be applied for translation from English or Italian into French
is 0.06 Euro per word in the source text; this single tariff applies to all
types of project and is negotiable as a function of the proposed volume of
words. As far as proofreading is concerned, the tariff is 0.01 Euro per
edited word, without any minimum concerning the length of your project. I
am also a membr of the websites Proz.com, Translators.com and
Gotranslators.com and am available throughout the year, without
interruption, to attend to the requirements of your clients, even during the
holiday period.
